Terms of Service for Anakrasia Education

Welcome to Anakrasia Education's terms of service! By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Time of Payment

Clients will be prompted to pay when or prior to scheduling a tutoring session or class. If the client has not paid for a session or class within one hour of scheduling it, Anakrasia Education may cancel the appointment to allow other clients to book that time.

Cancellation Policy

For Educational Consulting Sessions: Clients may cancel sessions up to 24 hours before scheduled sessions and receive a full refund or credit toward future sessions. We are unable to refund or credit any payments for sessions canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled session.
For Classes: You may cancel your spot in the course up to 72 hours before the beginning of the course and receive a full refund. Any cancellations within 72 hours of the course start time will still be charged the full course fee.

Refund Policy

Clients will not receive refunds for unused tutoring hours. These hours can be used for any ongoing educational support that Anakrasia Education is qualified to provide. Such tutoring hours can also be used by a sibling.

Late Arrivals

No allowance will be made for late arrival by students, and sessions will always begin and end promptly at the scheduled times.

Class Schedule

The class time is fixed and cannot be changed. Recordings may not always be available.

Class Size

The courses will be run with a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 20. Class spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If fewer than 4 students register, the course will be canceled and you will be issued a full refund. If more than 20 students register, we may initiate a waiting list.

Technical Difficulties

It is the expectation of Anakrasia Education that students will have a strong internet connection to support online sessions. In the event of internet connectivity issues during a tutoring session caused by the instructor's internet connection, Anakrasia Education will ensure that families receive the full amount of tutoring time scheduled, either by continuing past the scheduled end time, rescheduling for a different time, or refunding the family for the session. If the internet connectivity issue is caused by the student’s weak internet connection, Anakrasia Education will not provide any credit for the missed time, and tutors will not extend the affected tutoring session, reschedule, or refund the family.

Warranties

We provide no guarantee regarding students’ scores on classes or official tests.

Relaxation of Terms

No relaxation, indulgence, waiver, or release by any party of any of the rights in terms of this agreement on one occasion will prevent the subsequent enforcement of such rights and does not constitute a waiver for any subsequent breach of any of the terms.

Whole Agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged, expressed, or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.

Confidentiality

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate our terms of service.

Waiver of Liability

We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our services.

Modification of Terms

We may update or modify these terms of service at any time, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.

We may collect and store personal information as outlined in our privacy policy.
